Masaaki Kaburagi (President and Chief Executive Officer)

Mr. Masaaki Kaburagi is the founder of Prometheia Corporation.  He has more than two decades of high profile search experience for board members and C-levels for both Japanese companies and MNCs.  He was a Senior Client Partner of Korn Ferry International, where he led Global Technology Market and Professional Service Sector in Japan.  Before that, he was Managing Director of Russell Reynolds Associates, where he led the company's hardware and electronics practice in Asia Pacific region.  He is highly regarded by clients for his expertise in the technology and professional services sector.

Prior to executive search, Mr. Kaburagi held a number of senior and leadership roles with technology companies in Japan, including Compaq and Fujitsu.  He was also previously with Goldman Sachs as Vice President for Asset Management.

Mr. Kaburagi holds a master of business administration degree from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, with majors in strategic management and finance.  He received a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from Chiba University.

Train Luo (President, CGL, China)

Train Luo serves as President of CGL.  He is one of most experienced consultant in China, and has more than 24 years of senior level executive search experience.

Before founding CGL, Train Luo served as head of global recruitment at Digi Chuxing, Vice President of executive recruitment at Legend Holdings, and Vice President of Human Resources at DJI.  Prior to that, he worked as consultant with the debut team of top multinational executive search firms in China, and spent seven highly successful years tapping executives in Silicon Valley.  After returning to China, he served as a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles, Senior Partner at Korn Ferry, and later as President and Managing Partner of CT Partners China.  Train Luo has assisted many multinational corporations, Chinese conglomerates and companies in booming industries in successfully recruiting big names, some of whom are now powerful business leaders.

Korea

Sean Kim (Founder and CEO, TMG Search, Korea)

Sean Kim is the founder and CEO of TMG Search in Seoul, Korea.  He leads the Firms's TMT (Technology-Media-Telecom), Industrial, Consumer and Private Equity markets.  Sean has over 20 years of experience in management consulting and executive search industries covering organizational redesign, new business opportunity assessment, performance metrics development, business process re-engineering and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation.

Prior to founding TMT Search, he worked for Korn Ferry for 9 years as Country Managing Director and Senior Client Partner in Korea taking charge of TMT and Industrial markets as the youngest Office Managing Director amongst its 86 offices worldwide while serving on the Global Promotion Committee.  Sean has set the record at Korn Ferry for the fastest-track of promotion from Client Partner to Senior Client Partner and then to Country Managing Director all within 4.5 years upon his joining, which is deemed the fastest promotion ever in the history of the firm.

Earlier, he was the CEO of Metro Seoul Holdings, the Korean affiliate of Metro, the world's largest free daily newspaper.

Sean worked for Accenture (formerly known as Andersen Consulting), SK Group Chairman's Office as part of the In-House Consulting (IHC) Team and Bain & Company in his earlier career whereby he acted as a business advisor to the top management of Korean conglomerates conducting new business opportunity assessment, organizational redesign, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development, turn-around strategy formulation and implementation plans.

He earned an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, with triple-majors in finance, marketing and strategic management.  He received a bachelor's degree in business administration, Summa Cum Laude (first in his graduating class), Alpha Sigma Nu (international honor society of Jesuit colleges) from Sogang University with early graduation honors.  He has also completed a number of executive management programs from Seoul National University, Harvard Business School, Institute of Global Management (IGM) and the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI).

Sean won the "2005 Herald Business CEO Management Award" for ethical management and successful brand positioning among free newspaper dailies; he also co-authored the bestseller, The Road to the Top MBA in 1998.  In 2009, he supervised the compilation of the Korean version of The Trusted Advisor.

He is a certified Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) by HRCI-SHRM.

A Korean national, Sean lived in the U.S. and Brazil for 9 years.

Singapore

Patrick Fang (Founder and Managing Director, PFANG & Associates, Singapore)

Patrick Fang focuses on senior executive search and assessment assignments, such as CEO, CFO, CIO, Presidents and COO roles, for both privately and publicly listed firms including local comglomerates in Singapore and Asia region.  Based in Singapore, Patrick has worked with clients across a range of sectors on senior functional roles in Business, IT, HR, Finance, Legal and Operations.

Prior to PFANG & ASSOCIATES, Patrick spent over 16 years with Russell Reynolds Associates where he held roles as the Managing Director and Co-Office Manager for Singapore.  He was also a leader in the Technology and Digital Transformation Practice, and has worked closely with Media, Telecommunications, and Financial Services clients (particularly in E-Commerce, Digital Media, Analytics and Customer Experience), who have been early adopters in the digital technologies.  He has also worked on C-level positions for the Insurance and Asset Management industries.

Prior to Russell Reynolds Associates, Patrick spent eight years with Motorola both in Asia and Canada.  In Malaysia, he has South Asia Senior Regional Manager, overseeing all business activities for the Multimedia Group.  Earlier, he held the position of Senior Business Manager for the Wireless Data Product Division, where he was based in Malaysia and Vancouver.  Previously, Patrick was with IMPAC, a U.S.-based management consulting firm, where he held the position of Vice President, Operations, and was based in Vancouver, Tronto, Paris, Taipei and Malaysia.  Trained as a Mechanical Engineer, Patrick began his career in engineering-component development and supply chain management with Tan Chong Motors (Nissan car assembly operations) in Malaysia.

Patrick received his B.Sc. (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering, from Plymouth University, and his M.A. (awarded a Distinction) in Business Analysis from the University of Lancaster, both in the UK.  He is fluent in English, Malay and is conversant in Cantonese.

James Stuart (Managing Director, Cameron Stuart Associates, U.K.)

James Stuart is an established search consultant in the Consumer & Services Goods sector and has extensive experience executing senior assignments internationally at board level.  In recent years he has developed a strong expertise in prestige and high quality consumer goods and services clients globally, as well as deep exposure to Asian and American markets.

Prior to starting Cameron Stuart Associates, James gained 20 year's experience in global executive and non-executive (board member) search with Russell Reynolds Associates for seven years, where he became an Equity Partner.  He was subsequently recruited by Korn Ferry Whitehead Mann where he ran the London consumer practice and spent ten years originating and executing board level search mandates internationally.

Alongside his search career, James was an Independent Non-Executive Director and Remuneration Committee Chairman of Polymer Logistics, a London-listed multinational business from its flotation in 2006 to its acquisition in 2009.

His earlier career encompassed roles with pan-European responsibility in consumer products for Kragt Jacobe Suchard and General Motors Europe.

A British national, James earned a Master's degree from Johns Hopkins (SAIS) in International Economics & Politics and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and French.  James speaks French and German Fluently.
